What is a growth group?

It’s a small group of 10 to 15 people who get together each week to learn, grow, and build friendships. It’s a great way to meet new people while growing in your faith. There are several groups to choose from with a variety of topics to study.

Why should I be in a growth group?

We believe that spiritual growth happens most effectively in the relationships within a small group.  If you are just beginning to explore your faith, we have groups that create a safe place to ask questions.  We encourage every adult who calls this church their home to be involved in a growth group.

How often will my growth group meet?

Don’t worry, these groups aren’t designed to eat up your schedule. Most groups meet once a week for 60 to 90 minutes for 10 weeks.

What will the people be like at my group?

Look around at a Sunday service.  A growth group is basically 10 to 15 of those people who get together weekly to discuss the topic you have chosen.

How do I register for a group?

Once you’ve chosen a group, there are a few different ways you can sign up.

Connect Card—Write the name of the group you’ve selected on the back of your Connect Card. Then just drop it in the offering at the end of the service.

Online – The best way to sign up for a growth group is online.  All you need to do is look through the growth groups below and click on the one you would like to sign up for.  You will be linked to CCB (our churches database) where you can register for a class and join the online community where resources for your class will be shared and you can view the groups calendar.  If you haven’t signed up for CCB you will need to sign up first.

Once you’ve chosen a group, the facilitator will contact you and answer any questions you may have.

There is a Growth Group for you. Groups may fill up fast, so don’t wait to sign up.
